I was on Crantock today and similar vein to a post today, I too saw problems with the dunes and people not understanding the dangers. For example this family thought it was a good idea to jump off the top and then climb back up. I saw another family trying to get 2 dogs up a sheer face of the dunes which looked like it was overhanging, and lots of families with kids ‘drawing’ in the dunes on steep, hard packed parts. If it fell they would be gonners. Is it the National Trust responsible for the dunes? Not much they can do apart from educate people, but perhaps an email would mean they put up more warning signs?
